If you have lived in Palm Beach County for a significant period of time, you have probably heard about The Honda Classic. The Honda Classic is an annual golf event held at PGA National Golf Club in Palm Beach Gardens. Each year PGA Tour members participate in a golf tournament designed to raise money for nonprofit organizations who serve children in South Florida. Sergio Garcia, Justin Thomas and Rory McIlroy have already committed to participate and many are wondering if Rickie Fowler will do what only Jack Nicklaus was able to do, win the tournament in back-to-back years.
The Honda Classic kicks off February 19, 2018 and will wrap up on February 25, 2018. Discount Honda Classic tickets are available at Okeeheelee and Park Ridge Golf Courses with 70% of the purchase price supporting the Junior Golf Foundation of America, Inc.
The Junior Golf Foundation of America, Inc. is also participating in the American Honda Birdies for Children program. In this program donors have a chance to win a new Honda automobile, and the organization will receive the proceeds plus a 10% matching contribution courtesy of The Honda Classic. Simply, make a donation of $20 or more and then guess the total number of birdies that will be made by the entire field in all four rounds of the 2018 Honda Classic. Click here to make your guess.
