Coach Danni’s passion for golf began when both her father and grandfather introduced the sport to her at an early age. She loved being able to spend time with her family while learning something new and being outdoors. Although she played other sports, she ultimately chose to focus on golf when she entered high school. It was during this time that Danni fell in love with the sport all over again and made it her mission to become the best player she could.
While playing for Oxbridge Academy's golf team she began practicing every day after school at Okeeheelee Golf Course, headquarters for the Junior Golf Foundation of America. Before long, Danni was volunteering her time to teach juniors while also focusing on improving her game. The more she taught, it became evident that her love for the game was not limited to just playing. In fact, teaching was just as fulfilling to her as hitting a perfect drive or making a birdie putt.
As a result, Danni chose the PGA Golf Management Program at Florida Gulf Coast University. During that time, she interned at Mayacoo Lakes Country Club in West Palm Beach and Sankaty Head Golf Club in Nantucket, MA where her passion for teaching became solidified. In 2020, when her class offerings were adjusted to online because of the Covid-pandemic, she made a coaching change to Coach Glen and later joined Beaver Golf to help coach juniors in the homeschool program. The following year, she graduated with a Bachelor’s Degree in Science and earned her Class-A PGA Membership.
Now she is committed to teaching both junior and adult golfers. As she reflected on her own experiences with coaches, Danni decided to teach a relaxed and uncomplicated approach to golf. She simplifies the swing. This is the best way to gain confidence, play better golf, and ultimately reach your full potential.
